Check out this super cool video of comic book artist Pat Lee drawing for a live comic-art show in Hong Kong, in collaboration with the opening of a Diesel store.
Let me just say that I’m JEALOUS. I’ve always want to learn how to easily freehand such amazing looking art, and I can’t imagine how hard it must be to draw such a studly six pack like Batman’s. For real, though. I’m sure there are specific style guidelines that comic artists must follow to create their look, like the shading, the body proportions, the flow–all down with markers and spray cans! WTF CRAZY.
Dude, if I tried that, all of my pictures end up lopsided or Down Syndrome-esque.
