Plummy Plum Plum

June 23, 2008

LOOK! It’s a real plum! On my plum tree!

Thanks for Mayor Villaraigosa and his Million Trees LA initiative, sometime late last year (I think, I don’t remember) I scored myself a plum tree from a street fair, which B then had to carry for me all the way home. And then drive it (sticking out the window) to my parent’s house because that was the only place I could really plant a tree. I don’t think the city would be excited to see me digging a hole along the sidewalk without checking to see if I’m hitting any pipes or wires. Actually, I would be pretty excited to see me dig, since I have zero upper body strength.

Anyway, look! One plum is growing! I can’t believe it. Nature does work.

  2. That’s why you gotta start hitting the bench. I recommend starting with light reps the first couple weeks.
